Okay, So I've been loving this song for a while, the truth is I've been loving all the music that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs produce for a while, basically...I love Karen O the band's singer. The video makes absolutely no sense to me for the first 3 minutes. I mean its cool...I guess but whatever Karen O is wearing is ugly and distracting. But let me tell you....the last 45 seconds can only be described as:

I really can't stand Lady Gaga at all. But somehow she is on the cover of Rolling Stone. I think it looks like a chunk of 80's cheese that feel behind the couch and sat to rot for 20+ years and then somehow got put on news stands. Thinking about it though that description also fits Lady Gaga...(Ouch.) I gotta say the cover looks like I would expect because of the photographer. And I am A HUGE David LaChapelle fan but Lady Gaga is so FFFUUUGG...just gross.

When I get bored with my friends I make them wtch this video if they've never seen it and it always turns into a gape-a-thon with completely perplexed friends just confused staring at the screen. Okay, this is my jam (like oh hot damn it keeps me rockin to the AM) sorry for being cheesy and what not but I'm at a loss of word for how good this song is. Okay, so probably like a year or so ago my brother came back from europe and handed me a Cd he bought. The Cd was that of Rosin Murphy and from my first look at the cover, I knew bitch was crazy, and crazy is usually all I need to like something. I mean just look at the cover art bellow, how can you not like that?

Anywho, I really like alot of her songs and the fact that she is always looking batshit crazy really helps...Lady Gaga totally stole Roisin's game and that is one of the biggest reasons I can't stand that pant-less (w)horse (that is an attempt at a double insult) But before I get off topic just give it a try:

About two or three years ago I discovered The Streets and they quickly became the most played artist on my iPod. Probably at least 6 songs jumped into my top 25, so basically I love it. The Streets has a few different sounds...sometimes mellow, sometimes pretty abrasive, but always lyrically superb. Bellow I have 1 example of each of the afore mentioned styles...give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it. :)

This is "Irony of it All" and the song actually raises a pretty good point and makes you think about how our social world works.

This is "Dry Your Eyes" and its mad good.

Now, everyone I know loves the song "Day-n-Night" but it makes me really sad so I tend to not like listening to it. But luckily Crookers did a ballin remix to the song which I love and it pretty much lets me love and listen to the song without feeling down. Now Crookers are ALWAYS jerkin out the best remixes, I would probably say I am a fan of everything they produce.

OKAY- best music video ever, so maybe not, but pretty effin' good and the song is totally stuck in my head. This song(Baby, Baby, Baby) is by Make The Girl Dance, a french electro pop group and let me say, I'm definitely going to look out for them in the future, because like I said, this song is crazy catchy and runnin' all over my brain endlessly. I'm just going to shut up now, this video is more important and speaks for itself quite well.

Video Throwback: Lady Sovereign

Okay, so I'm a old school fan of Lady Sovereign--I was probably one of the first people to like her in America, totally an overstatement, but still, I love me some of the Biggest Midget in the Game. SOV's album "Public Warning" got some attention in America with the radio played track "Love Me or Hate Me" which she also had a remix of with Missy Eliot which was tight. Anyway, its not often a tiny little white british girl can break into the hip-hop rap game and actually seem credible, but she did and Random is a good ol' track that popped into my head and since its from 2006 I think we can call it a throwback...
