give it a Try: 3oh!3

Okay, so I recently got on a HUGE 3oh!3 kick. Its almost sickning how much I have been listening to their music. I know people are also starting to listen to it too so now I think it is spreading almost like a disease...not like swine flu...but almost as rapidly...speaking of: www.doihaveswineflu.org but yeah, um give 3OH!3 a try!!!!!

Okay, sorry, but most of these are not Music videos (sad face) but the songs are good so i posted them anyway..haaha
This first one is a music video, and the song is pretty popular its called "Don't Trust Me"

This is a video for "ELECTROSHOCK":

This one is great prolly one of my favorites "Richman":

This one actually makes me wanna dance even though it is called "Don't Dance"~ take a listen:

Watch: Boom Boom Pow

Its not often that you are actually tripped out by a music video these days, but "Boom Boom Pow" is totally way better then i even thought it would be. The futuristic nature isn't too overblown it is just really cool. I know that this look will probably be viewed (from the future) as lame and a little cheesy, but the video fits the song pretty much perfectly. The Digital lines flipping up on their faces is mad cool. I'm not a fan of the pure digital singing head--its kind of stupid and looks like something from the Disney movie "Tron" well, at least thats what i thinks it was called. Oh, the "danger" symbols being changed into musical symbols was preety creative. But what takes the cake is those red jumpsuit chicks. they bug out my mind endlessly, OH! and I'm not exactly sure what is going on with Furgie's head but I'm pretty sure that I never really know what is going on with Furgie...Simply put: I Like It Yo.

Video Throwback: Kanye

Starting up a nice little segment here called "Video Throwback" I'm not defining the word Throwback as meaning too far in history but just expect anything from its old school rock to just not so current hip-hop, which our post today falls into. This Kanye video is C to the R to the A_Z_Y...Like seriously people, I went around and forced four different people to sit down and watch it today. It is a mind f*ck on many different levels. If you read this blog often you know my distaste for the personality known as "Kanye West" his music is generally alright but he sucks a a person...totally a "gay fish" <(shout out to south park for the hate/love) ha. But back on target: this video, which I've realized not many people have seen is CRAZY>>>and also includs some of my favorite things...Fire, "Jello", Tied up Kanye, you know normal things most people like...GET IT!

Watch: Kiss Me Thru The Phone - Soulja Boy

Okay, here is my issue: I really thought that Soulja Boy was going to be a one hit wonder with "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" Seriously, like- it was a good hit but come on, the dude was totally reppin' a song with his name in it...That fucking screams one hit wonder. Since then there has been some random rubbish I've heard coming from his way but nothing great: Thats all changed. Kiss Me Thru The Phone rules my life...So many people I know absolutely hate it but otherwise the rest are fellin' it. I've never really seen a song with such a polarized audience but nevertheles, I can dig it. The video candy anit half bad neither, like shit yo thats some serious DSL....and if you dont know what that means...don't look it up, but bitty got it right son. hahaa--wish i could see her when i get home, let me stop there....enjoy the vid.

HOLY SINGLE LADY INSANITY!!!!

OH MY GOD! I'VE FOUND NIRVANA!!! Beyonce should cower in fear. Look at these ladies, they are tight. Hell to the yes. PERIOD.

JAI'HO!!!

Okay, so this post is kind of a random one- just finished working on a
critique paper and on random my iTunes played "Jai-ho" by The
Pussycat Dolls, which I didn't even realize that I had downloaded,
but apparently i did. HA.
Nevertheless, I tought it was pretty funny and now it feels like sort
of an inside joke....Na'mean? of course you do!
Anyway, this is not me supporting The Pussycat Dolls, but rather
me supporting laughter...yep!
enjoy?

Watch: Prom Queen - Lil Wayne

Now I've been feelin this song for a while now and when I realized it had a video I was interested to see where they would take it. First off, the song is a lot more rock then "regular mainstream Weezy" but like I said, I'm liking it. The video is actually less of a shocker conceptually then i thought it'd be, but i'm not upset...my only real problem with the video is that Lil Wayne stole Alicia Keys hair. Like straight up robed her weave, prolly scalped her on sight then popped it on his own head...
Speaking of, scalping....I semi-recently learned that my heritage is a little wacky, I'm related to a famous indian scalper Hannah Dustin there is a story that makes it relevant and stuff but all i know is that i have a relative that has statues built for them

This is one of the statues...theres a hatchet in her hand (she looks pissed) I'm also related to John Smith from Pocohantus...like foreal tho! but now that got sufficiently off topic...Watch Lil Wayne play a guitar, try lookin like a dweeb in high school and then just be himself, i guess...Yeah..

Watch: We Made You - Eminem

I'm not sure if I should give props to Eminem for calling EVERYBODY out in this video or if I should be ashamed of him because it was just a cry for media attention. Either way, attention is what he got-I mean, come on! This video is SOOOOO ridiculous! Lets just go through the list of people and shit he is calling out:

Bret Micheals, Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, Ellen Degeneres, Portia De Rossi, Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Transformers, Sarah Palin, Rock of Love (in general), Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer, Guitar Hero, Star Trek, Jessica Alba, and other stuff I'm too lazy/stupid to under stand the reference to.

Anywho, watch the vid-the song kind of grows on you with the video, I dont think i could ever listen to this on the radio....but its visually pleasing. (maybe?)

Saturday, April 4

Wait. Stare. Gape. Its Bizarro.

Okay, the title of this post will make sense when you see the second video. But let us start with the first video of Lily Allen. The following is a video of Lily singing a cover of Britney Spear's "Womanizer." Okay, thats a little strange maybe...but here is the weird part: at about the 3:30 mark Lindsay Lohan comes gives Lily Allen a mini hug/kiss and just flops on stage, tries to sing along-fails, dances a little and then she is gone as quick as she appeared. It is really rather bizarre.

Yeah there is that vid above then there is this:
